| Stacie chose a very elaborate five tier cake of lace, pearls, bows, initial plaque, cut outs, roses and cherry blossoms. Round and petal shaped butterpecan cakes were pearlized to create an elegant shimmer. The board was covered in fondant lace and a heavy gimp braid with tassles completed the elegant cake. The cake sat on a glass table that was over a gorgeous display of soft, feminine flowers. Crystal candlesticks were added to create an elegant, sophisticated tablescape to accent her cake. The cakes were a 6" round, 8" petal, 10" & 12" round and a 16" petal shaped cakes. The cake served approximately 230. A special thank you to Jennifer Dontz from Manistee, Michigan for her help on some of the gum paste roses. Stacie and Deanne were such a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed creating this elaborate cake for such a sweet and fun bride. Thanks so much!!! |
