This little beauty of a cake was made
for Brenda's 40th wedding
anniversary. I had done Brenda's
daughter's wedding cake and was
honored to make such a special
occasion cake.
As the fortieth anniversary is the
"Ruby" anniversary I chose to do
ruby colored roses and ivy leaves.
The cake itself if butter pecan
covered in buttercream icing. The
cakes were 5", 8" and 12" rounds
that were stacked for a traditional
look. Pearlized fondant lace on the
bottom of each cake make a
wonderful border. Ruby ribbon
encircled the bottom.
This cake served approximately 91
servings.
